FAQs

What are the most difficult sections when putting on tight latex pants?

The feet/ankles, knees, and upper thighs/hips. The material must stretch significantly over the feet, knees, and the widest part of the hips. You must use a generous and continuous layer of silicone dressing aid (lube) from your feet all the way up to your waist to prevent the material from sticking and tearing seams under tension.

How can I prevent my fingernails from tearing the material, especially around the ankles and waist?

Use only the soft pad of your fingers and extreme care. Latex is delicate. Always use the flat, soft pad of your fingers to gently pull the garment up. Never use your nails to pull the edges or manipulate zippers, as this is the primary cause of small, irreversible tears.

What maintenance is required for the front zipper (fly) and any metal buttons/snaps?

Regular silicone oil for the zip, and isolate all metal. Zippers are common failure points. Regularly apply a small amount of silicone oil (not dressing lube) directly to the zipper teeth. When storing, ensure the metal button or pull tab is isolated or wrapped with acid-free tissue paper to prevent metal-induced staining.

What is the safest way to store women's latex pants long-term?

Store 100% dry, flat, or roll gently. Never fold latex sharply. Ensure the item is completely dry, and store it flat in an opaque box, or gently roll it without creasing if necessary. Always keep it in an opaque storage bag away from light, heat, and metal.
