FAQs

What are the biggest challenges when putting on a tight latex nurse dress?

Fitting over the hips, bust, and shoulders. Like all fitted dresses, the garment requires significant stretch over the widest parts of the body. You must apply a generous amount of silicone dressing aid (lube) or talcum powder to the interior, concentrating on the shoulder seams and the bust line, to prevent tearing.

How should I handle the contrast red trim/cross during cleaning and storage?

Isolate the red from the white, and ensure they are 100% dry. Red latex is highly prone to color bleeding onto white latex when damp or in contact. Clean the garment immediately after wear, and ensure the entire item is completely dry before storing the red areas (like belts or crosses) wrapped in acid-free tissue paper away from the white material.

How can I protect the delicate collar, cuff, and belt edges from damage by my fingernails?

Use only the soft pad of your fingers and extreme caution. Never pinch the edges with your fingernails. When adjusting or fastening the collar or belt, only use the flat, soft pad of your fingers to gently pull the material, especially where there are snaps or closures.

What is the safest way to store all the different latex components of a nurse outfit (dress, hat, belt)?

Store individually, separated by color, and opaque. Each component must be completely dried and powdered/polished. Store the white dress in an opaque garment bag. Store the red belt and hat separately in their own opaque, wrapped bags to prevent any color transfer.
